I studied English Litterature and Philosophy in Aristotle University, Greece. Being a certified educator I have been teaching since 2000. I have worked for a great many private institutions as an EFL Tutor ,and even more so, I assumed a managerial position as a Director of Studies. I was an English - Speaking Examiner conducting exams for multinational companies. I am currently working with several platforms as a freelance Writing and Language Teacher and always expecting to include more remote work options.
I prepare secondary and higher education students for B2- C2 English Language certificates ( i.e TOEIC, IELTS, TOEFL, CPE) as most universities and companies worldwide are increasingly incorporate English Language certificate scores into their admission and hiring process.
Keeping everything in perspective I am adoptable and flexible flowing between versatile modes of teaching. My portfolio of courses is dependent on a student's background, skill sets and challenges. I foster each person's unique individuality and, so, in our very first session, after actively hearing each other's concerns the students and I choose together what are the steps to take.
Notwithstanding that I have a standards-based teaching approach, I usually modify the studies recourses to provide a more personalised path in order for the learner to be more motivated and the course to be more engaging.
